Around Port Issac Self Catering Cottages & Farmhouses Port Issac is a delightful Cornish fishing village situated on Cornwalls north coastline. Most of the old centre of the village consists of 18th and 19th century cottages many of which are officially listed as 'of architectural or historic importance', along narrow alleys and 'opes' winding down steep hillsides. The village was frequently used as a 'set' for filming the Poldark series and more recently has become associated with the series 'Doc Martin' in which Port Issac was tranformed into fictional Port Wenn.
